The Sholay magic in Nagpur
For a passing moment, one could have mistaken it as a scene straight from Sholay! There were Veeru, Jai and Basanti mouthing hit dialogues!
However, this was no re-enacting of the film���s famous scenes, it was just a novel introductory style which a few members of Rotary Ishanya used at the club���s 8th Charter Night.
They got innovative and laced their speech with dialogues like Arey O President! Kitne members the and Basanti! In members ke saamne mat naachna, much to everyone's amusement.
Sholay is not a film, it���s a phenomenon which has etched its presence in the hearts of people forever." It wasn���t just the Sholay act that pepped up the fun quotient of the do. A few performances by kids and dance numbers by the lady members added zing to the do. The best was saved for the last as the President of the club Dr Sanjay Mohta crooned Mohabbatien lootaunga... "I found this song apt for the do. I am not a fan of Abhijeet Sawant, but this number was different," he said.
